Diageo Global Engineering
Projects Project Engineering together with Diageo Global Engineering develop training program on EN ISO 13849-1 validation with SISTEMA. Needs Diageo are a global leader in alcoholic beverages and have several operational facilities located throughout the island of Ireland. As with any modern manufacturer, they rely on complex machinery and process control for production, filling and packaging of their products. Diageo recognise that safety is paramount and safety considerations must have priority over performance and efficiency specifications when procuring new machinery or completing upgrades of existing equipment. Diageo engineering safety compliance team is made up of experienced machinery safety professionals, with
Projects Project Engineering complete calculations for component specification, design detailing, FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and full manufacturing data pack for complex wind turbine maintenance systems for SSE Renewables. Needs SSE Renewables are the UK and Irelands clean energy champion and have plans to expand globally to deliver the green energy the world needs. SSE Renewables faced limitations by their current tooling for carrying out significant maintenance activities on the hub of their onshore turbine fleet. SSE Renewables service requirements meant they needed to safely rotate an unbalanced hub (a wind turbine hub which already has a blade removed). Approach Project
Robot Test Cell
Projects International automation brand needed a safe cell for testing of robots, manipulators and end-of-arm tools. Needs The client, an international automation brand, is at the forefront of factory automation technology with a wide range of robotic products and end-of-arm systems. To enable safe testing of robot systems the client required a standalone cell with pedestal for securing numerous variations of robotic arms. Approach Project Engineering engaged with the client to gain a full understanding of their requirements and project constraints. After digesting this information, a scope of work was developed for delivery of a CE marked robotic test system
